Description Note: As on 7th January 2020, a new strain of Coronavirus was identified. The virus has been renamed by WHO as SARS-CoV-2 and the disease caused by it as COVID-19.On 28 February 2020, WHO increased its risk assessment of COVID-19 to very high at global and regional levels. Risk communication and community engagement (RCCE) will be the main stay for containment of COVID-19. The RCCE strategy includes engagement with children who are restricted at home due to the closure of schools and country wide lockdown. These mobisodes which are a part of a series called Tara Hai Tayyarhave been developed by UNICEF UP office in partnership with The Puppetarians (a creative agency which creates edutainment videos for children using puppets) with the view of ensuring that children understand the key messages related to COVID-19. The series is meant to be disseminated using television, radio, WhatsApp, and social media channels of Education, NSS, Bharat Scout and Guides, UPSRLM, NHM, DWCD, and development partners.
This is the fourth mobisode of Tara Hai Tayyarseries in sign language and focuses on quality parent-child interactions, continuity of learning during the lockdown and making home stress free and happy.
This mobisode was ready on April 8, 2020. It is available in WhatsApp, a high-res version.
